Prerequisites
Experience Requirements:
- Five years full-time experience in at least two CISSP domains.
- A degree in computer science or IT can substitute for one year of experience.
- Additional ISC2-approved credentials may substitute for up to one year of experience.
- Part-time work and internships count towards experience (minimum 20 hours per week).
- No experience? Become an ISC2 Associate by passing the exam, with six years to gain the required experience.
Pre-requisites:
- Full-time work: 35 hours/week for 4 weeks = 1 month of experience.
- Part-time work: 1040 hours = 6 months; 2080 hours = 12 months.
- Internships: Acceptable with documentation on company or school letterhead.
