Components of Certification

Candidates submit a written portfolio entry demonstrating their ability to support clients in developing leadership competencies. Responses must include detailed examples of real-world coaching engagements, showcasing how candidates foster growth, promote self-awareness, and align coaching practices with established theories or models.

Component 3 evaluates a candidate’s ability to coach leaders in developing effective communication, managing interpersonal dynamics, and fostering productive relationships. It focuses on how coaches help clients enhance collaboration, resolve conflicts, and build meaningful connections within teams and organizations. Candidates submit a written portfolio entry reflecting on their experiences coaching leaders in communication and relationship-building. Responses must include detailed examples of coaching scenarios, demonstrating how candidates facilitated improvements in communication, interpersonal effectiveness, and conflict resolution. Responses must include detailed examples of coaching engagements, demonstrating the candidate’s ability to define success metrics, measure outcomes, and foster alignment with organizational objectives.
