To be eligible for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification, candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements:

  • At least 1 year of professional HR experience with a Master’s degree or higher
  • At least 2 years of professional HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 4 years of professional HR experience with less than a Bachelor’s degree
