Live-virtual PMP® exam prep for Fort Carson Soldiers
Fort Carson Soldiers: Turn Your Brigade Planning Into a PMP® in 9 Fridays
4th Infantry Division Soldiers plan training, gunneries and deployments on hard deadlines. Civilian employers call that project management. Prove it with the PMP®, and be done by 11:30am Mountain.
- PMI® Authorized Training Partner
- 36 contact hours (meets PMI's 35-hour requirement)
- Live with instructor Ken Danos, PMP
Next cohort starts Jan 8, 2027. Army CA requests take lead time. Aim to submit by about Nov 24, 2026.
Credential employers recognize
PMI calls the PMP the world's most widely held project certification. It turns "brigade training and deployment planning" into words a civilian hiring manager already trusts.
Your Army time can count
PMI requires 36 / 48 / 60 months of project-leading experience (bachelor's / associate's / high school) in the last 10 years. If you led it, you can document it.
Live, not a video library
Real instructor, real-time questions, every Friday at 7:30am–11:30am MT. Log in from wherever the Army has you.
Built for Fort Carson
Fort Carson sits just south of Colorado Springs and is home to the 4th Infantry Division.
Planning ranges, moving equipment and hitting readiness deadlines is project work. The PMP is how a civilian hiring manager recognizes it.
No drive to class. You log in from your barracks room, your house in Colorado Springs, or wherever the Army has you that Friday.

Questions from Fort Carson Soldiers
Who can take this PMP class?
Anyone who wants the PMP. If you plan to use Army Credentialing Assistance, confirm your eligibility with your Army education counselor through ArmyIgnitED before you request funding.
Is there an in-person PMP class on Fort Carson?
This class is live-virtual. You attend from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. That means no commute off post and no missed class because of a range day across the installation.
How many hours is the course, and does it meet PMI's requirement?
36 contact hours over 9 Fridays, which meets PMI's 35-hour training requirement to apply for the PMP.
Do I need to be a project manager already?
You need documented project-leading experience: 36 months with a bachelor's degree, 48 with an associate's degree, or 60 with a high school diploma, within the last 10 years. Military projects count if you led them.
What do I need from ACSI to request Army CA?
A quote from the training provider. Request yours at the link on this page, or call 719-644-6933.
Is the PMP exam voucher included?
No. The PMI exam is quoted separately, and you request it as its own item in ArmyIgnitED. The training is what this class covers, and you can retake it until you pass.
How does Army Credentialing Assistance work?
Army CA is a voluntary, off-duty program that can fund training and exams for industry-recognized credentials, and the credential doesn't have to match your MOS. Eligibility depends on your component, status and service obligation, and the Army updates the rules. Requests go through ArmyIgnitED and need chain-of-command approval plus a quote from the training provider.
The Jan 8 cohort is next. CA requests need lead time.
