Live-virtual PMP® exam prep for Fort Bragg Soldiers
Fort Bragg Soldiers: Turn Your Airborne Planning Into a PMP® in 9 Fridays
Rehearsals, timelines, contingency plans: civilian employers call that project management. Put it in their language with the PMP®. (Searching "Fort Liberty"? Same post, right page.)
- PMI® Authorized Training Partner
- 36 contact hours (meets PMI's 35-hour requirement)
- Live with instructor Ken Danos, PMP
Next cohort starts Jan 8, 2027. Army CA requests take lead time. Aim to submit by about Nov 24, 2026.
Credential employers recognize
PMI calls the PMP the world's most widely held project certification. It turns "airborne rehearsals and timelines" into words a civilian hiring manager already trusts.
Your Army time can count
PMI requires 36 / 48 / 60 months of project-leading experience (bachelor's / associate's / high school) in the last 10 years. If you led it, you can document it.

Built for Fort Bragg
Yes, it's Fort Bragg again. The Army redesignated Fort Liberty as Fort Bragg effective February 10, 2025, honoring Pfc. Roland L. Bragg, a World War II paratrooper who earned the Silver Star at the Battle of the Bulge. If you still type "Fort Liberty" into Google, you're in the right place.
Bragg is the Army's largest installation and home to XVIII Airborne Corps headquarters. Paratroopers live by rehearsals, timelines, and contingency plans. Civilian employers call that risk management and schedule control. The PMP puts it in their language.
Can't get there? Fort Bragg and Fort Stewart run joint Virtual Education Counseling, Monday-Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm.
Class is on Fridays. Bragg ACES is open Fridays. Book your counselor appointment on a non-class Friday, or on Monday through Wednesday.

Questions from Fort Bragg Soldiers
Who can take this PMP class?
Anyone who wants the PMP. If you plan to use Army Credentialing Assistance, confirm your eligibility with your Army education counselor through ArmyIgnitED before you request funding.
Is this class for Fort Liberty or Fort Bragg?
Same installation. Fort Liberty was redesignated Fort Bragg effective February 10, 2025, with a formal ceremony on March 7, 2025. Everything on this page applies to Soldiers stationed there.
How many hours is the course, and does it meet PMI's requirement?
36 contact hours over 9 Fridays, which meets PMI's 35-hour training requirement to apply for the PMP.
Do I need to be a project manager already?
You need documented project-leading experience: 36 months with a bachelor's degree, 48 with an associate's degree, or 60 with a high school diploma, within the last 10 years. Military projects count if you led them.
What do I need from ACSI to request Army CA?
A quote from the training provider. Request yours at the link on this page, or call 719-644-6933.
Is the PMP exam voucher included?
No. The PMI exam is quoted separately, and you request it as its own item in ArmyIgnitED. The training is what this class covers, and you can retake it until you pass.
How does Army Credentialing Assistance work?
Army CA is a voluntary, off-duty program that can fund training and exams for industry-recognized credentials, and the credential doesn't have to match your MOS. Eligibility depends on your component, status and service obligation, and the Army updates the rules. Requests go through ArmyIgnitED and need chain-of-command approval plus a quote from the training provider.
The Jan 8 cohort is next. CA requests need lead time.
